History
InWest and its affiliated companies have provided employee benefits consulting services since the early 1980s. InWest Retirement Solutions was created in 1998 following the acquisition of Western Pension Management by The InWest Group, Inc. In 2001, InWest Retirement Solutions was acquired by Cain & Cook Enterprises, Inc.
Executive Leadership
Paul Cain – President
Paul is a native Texan and fourth generation Midlander. He earned his BBA with a major in finance from The University of Texas – Permian Basin. Paul spent eleven years with Pioneer Natural Resources ending his tenure as a Senior Financial Analyst. He joined InWest in 1999 as a Retirement Plan Administrator. He was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2000. Paul became President and principal owner of InWest Retirement Solutions in 2001. Paul currently serves on the Midland Chamber of Commerce, Midland Fairhavens and Bynum School Board of Directors and is active in a variety of community organizations including Leadership Midland and Downtown Kiwanis. He is married to Teresa and has two daughters.
Heidi Cook, QKA, QPA, CPC – Vice President
Heidi earned her BA from the University of California at San Diego in 1985. That same year she joined Dun & Bradstreet Pension Services as a Retirement Plan Administrator where she remained until 1993. Heidi was a Retirement Plan Consultant for Matthews, Malone & Associates for seven years before joining InWest in 1999. She was promoted to Vice President of Administration in 2000. Heidi became a principal owner of InWest Retirement Solutions in 2001. She has earned the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Heidi currently serves on the ASPPA Membership Committee and the Heritage USA FCU Supervisory Committee. She is married to Brett and has three children.
